The Fly Texas? Magazine

The Fly Texas? (FTX?) magazine is the new, and official,
monthly General Aviation (GA) and Aerospace publication of The Texas Pilots
Association. We chose the name to reflect our primary focus in a couple of
encompassing and powerful words, with the aim that it will become the official
national and international resource for all Texas related GA references and activities.
Aviators and aviation enthusiasts have many choices of magazines,
online forums, and resources to choose from. Our mission with our
aviation publication is to provide a resource of information that will engage the
readers and participants, we will promote safety, education, accessibility,
tourism, and encourage
the old guard of our industry to stimulate and motivate younger and newer
pilots, with a focus on the GA field, and its many related activities, in our State of Texas.
With the rising cost of training, soaring fuel
prices, and other related expenses, a new or want-to-be pilot has plenty of
reasons not to take up flying. As many companies and organizations have taken
responsibility to change this trend and increase the amount of pilots, our
monthly publication and website will provide a more dynamic platform to engage
pilots and help them realize their options.
The magazine will be available in
PDF format. We are also studying the option of making it available in print too. The
independent website, which will be hosting the e-magazine version, Fly Texas
Online, will be coming soon, and will be found at FlyTexasOnline.com.
If you would like to contribute
articles, ideas, or any other material to the Fly Texas?
magazine, please contact the publication's editor via email at:

"Texas... So much to see, so many
things to do, and all kinds of places to go... Why not fly there? We can show you the
way!
...
